Grapes from the southern Okanagan Valley were used for the Merlot. The juice underwent malolactic fermentation for 2-3 weeks and was then aged in oak barrels for 8 months. Before bottling the wine went through fining and minimal filtration to enhance varietal characteristics.
Garnet in colour this classic ripe Merlot has aromas of plum, blackberry, and cocoa. The palate is rich with blackberry, chocolate and plum. This wine has firm round tannins and a lengthy finish.
